VPI stands for Vermont Paranormal Investigators. The group was founded in 2009 to assist businesses, families, and individuals who suspect they are not alone. Our paranormal investigations are ONLY driven by factual and scientific proof of the unexplained. In the investigations we have done, we find many of the noises thought to be paranormal activities can be ruled out as being normal sounds that occur from normal activity.
Vermont Paranormal Investigators respects the confidentiality and privacy of all our clients. All consultations are 100% confidential. At the time of an investigation, clients are able to choose the level of confidentiality they feel most comfortable with.
No matter what VPI finds the investigation is always 100% free.

First Investigation of 2012!
January 13, 2011Our first investigation of 2012 was back at a familiar place. This location has been very active for us in the past and we have been able to document many EVPs here. We are currently training a few new investigators. This will allow us to be more flexible when scheduling investigations. Currently we are reviewing the evidence. Keep checking back for updates!
Experiences from December 31, 2011
January 8,2011Time to share. During our last investigation,we had the experience of the entire team smelling a floral perfume in the house. The homeowner reported she had never smelled that one before. We checked the homeowner's collection and none matched. One of our investigators seemed to be able to interact with the odor. When she asked questions she could get the perfume smell to come closer or move away. Each time this odor was verified by one of our other investigators. The paranormal contact seemed to indicate it was female, somewhere in the teenage years, but it also seemed to be playful causing doubt as to its age. We moved out of the bedroom, where the scent was first identified, to the living room to see if the scent moved with us. It did! This investigator then began questioning the entity further and we gathered considerable information of personal importance to the homeowner concerning a recently deceased relative. We have reported the whiff of a fragrance in other cases, but none quite as strong as this one. The scent was of the floral variety with a very slight undertone of cotton candy.
We had a great investigation last night!!!
December 31th 2011The team had a lot of personal experiences on this case- strong scents were reported by investigators and the homeowner. At several points we tried to communicate with the scent using yes or no questions, very intriguing stuff. Right now we are reviewing the evidence. Keep updated on here and on our Facebook page.

February 22nd 2011After losing a hard drive on our primary web PC, we are putting things back together. The GOOD NEWS is we have many EVP's and maybe some video of one of the small red dots we saw floating around that night! I hope to have them on the site very soon!

Ghost Radar
March 1st 2010Today I was messing around with my new iPhone 3Gs, and I see there is an app called "Ghost Radar" by Spud Pickles (new to me). I bought it for the .99 cents after reading many reviews saying it was crap, or that it was really good. Typical for the paranormal world we live in to be split like this. We have an investigation coming up which we know to have activity and I plan on bringing my iPhone with this app. I will tell you what I think as we test it in the field along side with our other equipment that has given proven results.
UPDATE: After using the Ghost Radar for 6 hours straight we are still unsure of its capabilities. We did have some interesting words that popped up and seemed to fit what was going on. For example the app said - coffee - right when Steve was pouring a cup. One has to keep in mind though that when teams are up doing this coffee is on them menu. Also so are some of the other words that popped up. There following are just some words that were used: Egypt, Chicago, Charles, Bill, the, transportation, gasoline, burn, spirit, guide, and more. Again, many of these words were meaningless to any history, or conversation we were having. We almost felt this was like a horoscope in the way it almost can apply to anything if you try hard enough, which is not a good thing to do.

Back for more!?
April 17th 2009We were back at it Friday night. Spending all of our time in a building that has had multiple deaths in the past. We spent time on the third floor of this local building where we caught some odd disembodied voices previously. This was the same building that called out Michelle during the last visit.
We are currently reviewing the hours of video, and listening to multiple audio files to see if we caught anything. We already have heard some pretty clear EVPs, and the will be posted under our evidence section. Check back for updates!

UPDATE!!
March 13th 2009Today we broke ground with our first investigation together. We investigated a retired nursing home that has been known to house unexplained activities. The largest aspect noted during the investigation was how quiet the building was. During the investigation our team of four split into two teams of two which allowed us to effectively cover different floors at the same time. This was also important to limit noise contamination. The third floor seemed to feel heavier than the rest of the floors, and one of our team members felt that she was touched on the leg at this location. Though nothing major happened while VPI was there, the evidence proved substantial. We were able to catch multiple electronic voice phenomena (EVP).
